Your Principal Chiropractor, Pauline Jones BSc DC Pauline Jones BSc DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (Bournemouth) in 1996. Pauline specialises in a comprehensive & advanced technique called Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), incorporating applied kinesiology (muscle testing to aid diagnosis & treatment). The basis of SOT is that the cranium (skull), spine & pelvis function as a single unit, & dysfunction in one part of this, most frequently the pelvis, will affect other parts of the system. So, regardless of the symptoms, the entire body is examined, & adjustments may need to be made in areas distant from the symptoms in order to achieve maximum benefit. SOT addresses not only mechanical function, but also the effects of this on nerve & organ function.
Pauline also integrates numerous years of postgraduate study in clinical nutrition to assist her management of pain, organ & endocrine problems (hormonal imbalances). Nutritional supplementation enhances your chiropractic care, helping with ligament repair, arthritis, joint pain & lowering inflammation. This enables you to get out of pain faster, & get back to work sooner. Clinical Nutrition helps: - Stress management
- Mood swings and irritability
- Lack of energy
- Digestive problems, including IBS
- Endometriosis
- Minimise your risk of osteoporosis
- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) & menopausal symptoms, hot flushes, night sweats.
